Lesley Jackson, PhD has a prominent background in psychology and higher education having served in both the divisions of Student Affairs as an administrator and university teaching posts in Academic Affairs at several institutions of higher education including California Institute of Integral Studies and Michigan State University teaching in education, Transformative Studies, and Women’s Spirituality. She is currently Program Chair and founding Core Faculty for the EdD in Educational & Professional Practice at Antioch University which launched in 2020. Her experience includes a focus in transformative pedagogy with an emphasis on tools and skills for well-being, change, and development. She has been a consultant to, developed, and managed programs for diverse organizations including social services, community organizations, interfaith centers, parenting and youth development organizations, women's empowerment groups, institutions of higher education and fortune 500 companies.
Dr. Jackson is passionate about personal growth as a means for meaningful individual and social change. A scholar-practitioner, her research interests are transdisciplinarity, transformative learning and leadership development, higher education, doctoral student support, reflective inquiry, holistic self-care, well-being and coaching, adult development, and spirituality.
